Still a few hours to go, but my mood’s already getting kinda melancholic.

2009 has been such a crazy year. I faced so many ups and downs and made many mistakes but learned my lessons. I’m very thankful for my great,loving and caring family and also for the best friends in the whoooole world!! This new years eve I’ll spend with my parents and some friends and my little rabbit, Schoki. Eventhough we’ve planned to make a party - somehow I think its good that this years last eve I’ll be spending just in a small and more quiet circle.

2010 will hopefully be a successful and full of surprises packed year! Planning to go to many different places in the upcoming year with my friends and my new cam to explore the variety of culture, fashion, music and lifestyle in many parts of the world.

Right now I’m currently searching all over the internet for a prom dress or let’s just say an idea for my prom dress. Our schools prom will be on may first (yeah I know, why do I already plan what I’m wearing 6 months before?! but hey I’m a girl so there’s nothing I can do about it) and this prom will be hopefully a much better one compared to the past ones. This year I’m even in the prom committee YEY!

So let’s talk about the ‘dress to impress’ thingy. The perfect prom dress should be elegant, classy but not bland, fitting and appropriate. I’m mentioning appropriate because I’ve seen so many girls wearing dresses which they could wear if they were walking on the beach or using as their pyjama - but definitely not as a prom dress. You’d better stick to the rules to impress with your dress.

2009 has been a year of change. beginning with election of the new president of the USA, Barack Obama, the financial crisis and also the natural disasters caused by mother earth. Since this year I recognized how important it is to watch news and get an insight into politics, religious beliefs and many other things for my general knowledge.

A great way to always stay updated and informed on every aspect of life is through watching CNN. I love CNN! It’s truly one of the best channels, I personally think. They have so many great programmes like Amanpour, BackStory, TalkAsia and many, many more.

I’m even thinking about an internship in Atlanta at CNN’s center. As I am planning to study media&communication skills and/or (fashion)journalism I am considering to work&study at one or even more centers of CNN like in Abu Dhabi or Hongkong.

Actually I just wanted to tell you how important it is to me as a teenager to let others know how they can educate theirselves.
